We watched Miss Krefft do an experiment about the water cycle. Have a look! She is asking us some great questions! Thank you Miss Krefft for teaching us so much!
We are a New Entrants - Year 1 class who share our learning by being respectful, responsible and the best we can be.

Science Learning : The Water Cycle
We have been doing some really exciting Science learning with Miss Krefft. Miss Krefft read us the story "Drippy the Raindrop" which is about the water cycle. We then integrated Science with drama role playing the water cycle. Have a look!

NWS Environment Day!
We had a great Environment Day. Our Student Teacher, Miss Krefft did neat things with us. She taught us about Kaitiaki - Guardians. We talked about how we need to protect our world. We can do this by saving water, turning the lights off, picking up rubbish (we are already very good at this!) and recycle.
We made our environment tree saying how we can protect our world.
We used recycling products to make something.
Thank you Miss Krefft - we enjoyed learning about Kaitiaki.

Science and Bubbles
With our Science hats on we blew bubbles investigating how big we could blow them, why they would go up? We wondered what was making the bubbles so big?
