Swimming Time!

We are enjoying swimming! We have instructors to help us learn to float, blow bubbles, do a starfish on my back and front, use a  board or noodle to help us float.

Well done William. You received the Principal's Award for making progress in reading sight words. And it was so great that you won the drink bottle! Lovely to see William's family at Assembly.

Our Beans

We are all going to grow our own bean and to learn about the seed growth. We know the roots come out first, then there is a shoot which grows into a stem. Next are the leaves and then the flowers. We hope to see beans too!

Gardening with our Buddy Class

We planted our "Little Garden" seeds with our buddies from Room 2. We have so many different seeds....kale, lettuce, capsicum, radish, broccoli and many more! We have to care for our little garden ensuring they have light, soil, water, and sun to flourish into seedlings we can then plant into the ground.

We had a great time! We loved everything - the sprints, hurdles, long jump, high jump and the bean bag throwing. 

Farewell Party

At the end of Term 3 we had a class party to say goodbye to 7 Room 1 students. We know we will all still be friends and see each other at morning tea and lunch break. We will miss you Zakir, Bentley, Maha, Simra, Aliya, Liam and Hasan!
